Leif was born and raised in the central interior of British Columbia. Growing up on a ranch out in the middle of the bush gave him the opportunity to start hunting and learning animal behavior from a very young age. His passion for wildlife and the mountains grew steadily. When he was 19 years old he was given the opportunity to be a wrangler for a outfitter in the Yukon. Half way through the first season he guided his first hunt and from there it became an addiction. He loved being a part of people fulfilling lifelong dreams and showing them the animals and country he had such a passion for. Years later the passion has only increased but after many of nights sitting in hunting camps with hunters and hearing many stories of not only their good experiences but also their bad experiences, Leif decided that if he could work with his hunters personally right from booking the hunt, guiding the hunt, then making sure the animals got home to them, he could make sure every hunt was top quality and that hunters got what they paid for.
